Scout Motors, a VW Group-backed EV company recently announced its plans to develop a $2 billion factory capable of producing 200,000 electric vehicles a year. The development broke ground in mid-2023 in Blythewood just 15 minutes from the Project and is expected to create about 4,000 jobs.
