Scott McLamore is the President of Construction at One Real Estate Investment and is responsible for the overall performance of all new multifamily construction projects and contracts throughout the development portfolio. He has 30 years of construction and development experience holding various leadership positions in his prior roles. In his most recent role, Scott personally negotiated over $6 billion in Construction GMP contracts and has overseen nearly 100 projects across 30 different states.
Prior to joining One Real Estate Investment, Scott spent the last 11 years as EVP of Construction at CA Ventures, where he was responsible for the Construction Management of both CA’s Student Living and Residential verticals. Scott was instrumental in the growth of CA Ventures, helping to transform the company from a regional Midwest development company to a global, vertically integrated real estate investment management company with more than $15 billion of assets across the United States, Europe and Latin America. Prior to CA Ventures, Scott was a Director at Joseph Freed & Associates for seven years where he managed the construction of multiple mixed-use projects in the Midwest. Prior to Joseph Freed & Associates, he worked at Lincoln Property Company for eight years overseeing the general contracting in the Midwest.
A native of Chicago, Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas-Arlington.
